MLK Walk in Houston

In celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, TWU members from every division gathered in Houston for a day of service organized by International Administrative Vice President and Director, Department of Human and Civil Rights, John Bland. The group volunteered at a food bank, and visited the site where Vice President Bland participated in a sit-in during the civil rights movement. Honoring Dr. King’s legacy and long history with the union, TWU members also represented their brothers and sisters in Houston’s MLK Day parade.
